Dan's Fresh Produce

We headed out for a walk today around noon.    Oak and Park Streets were bustling with Car Wash participants, strollers, shoppers and plenty of dogs.   "Help a needy kid" shouts asking for much needed funds for high schoolers.

A crowd formed near Dan's Fresh Produce where local people allowed us to sample delicous products which can be purchased along with Dan's fruits and veggies.

 We tasted flavored soy products from Hodo Soy were provided, including a very spicy yuba noodle which I loved.  The chef from the Hob Nob told me they have a weekend brunch and daily dinner on Park Street near Encinal.  Her marinated beets on crostini were as beautiful to look at as delicious to taste.

Joe Scalise provided us with mild and spicy sausage  which he is now packaging.  I wish I could have provided more endorsements of the products showcased at Dan's but my stomach would not allow it.    Thanks for the terrific samples!
