My Creative Neighbor

I saw the article in the paper about her but I had to walk to the library today to see for myself.  Yes, our neighbor Abbey Keep, a student at Wood School, created the central display artifact over at the Alameda Free Library.  Papyrus plants surround her boat filled with goods traveling the Nile River.   She has fashioned a reed boat of her own so tightly woven I'm sure it would float.  I read that Abbey was honored by Alameda County for her entry.   Congratulations, neighbor!
