For the past few years I have been passing on my household and garden items that I no longer need and have picked up some wonderful books and children's items and an entire worm farm that would have been quite costly. Last month I was looking for an old fashioned child's high chair for my visiting grandchildren, which could also become a piece of dining room furniture. Was I asking too much?
Two days ago someone offered a chair, simple and wooden. I quickly replied and today, to my astonishment, I received a chair that matched our wooden and red stained dining table and chairs perfectly. Beautiful chair, thanks Jennifer, thanks freecycle.
Anyone have any similar freecycle stories?

What a fun surprise to wake up and see our kids high chair sitting at the ready for another generation of little ones. I hope your grandchildren enjoy it as much as our kids, nieces and nephews did. Happy it found a perfect home.
