Concrete Stamps

Ever look at the sidewalk while you're walking through town?   Lots of information is available to anyone interested in the age of the neighborhood.   Last night I saw where all the utilities keep their valves.  When sidewalks were replaced and curbs cut.

The oldest I found on Clinton was 1956,

This was the oldest on Clinton,

  and... this let me know when Southshore was paved.    I'm sure there are older walks in Alameda and I shall continue to look for them on my strolls.
