Vintage Fashion Faire

The O Club was the setting last Saturday of the Vintage Fashion Faire, three large rooms filled with all of my old clothing, Mom's clothing and some of Grandma's hats, furs and wedding gowns.  A delight for nostalgia buffs, costumers, and those who love beautiful fabrics and patterns and well made clothes.   These items have stood the test of time.  No wonder young people enjoy dressing in shirtwaists, zoot suits and beautiful lace undergarments.   The display at Trappings of Time contained many of my old Sunday church hats.

There was a fashion contest which was fun for all involved.
I only wish I was four sizes smaller.   I did find a wonderful wallet with a quirky feature that I remember from my youth.  Place your bills inside and peel them from a slot inside.    Very cool!
