I set out this weekend with my fun camera on my ipod called Camera + by taptaptap.
I had fun applying FX and lighting and borders to these photos. Above are my "jelly fish" birdfeeders. Below are flourescent smoke trees.

Mastick Beach Walk
We had our final meeting of the term this week, a trek to the ocean using public transportation. We took the 20 bus from Park St to BART, then the 38L on Muni out along Geary all the way to the grounds of the Sutro Mansion, or what is left of the gardens and mansion.
Naturally, the first stop in the City would be to use the facilities at the Sheraton-Palace stopping to admire the Maxfield Parrish wall behind the bar at Maxfield's and to enjoy the ambiance of the diningroom filled with palms and stained glass ceiling.
The bus took us to the Sutro grounds where we were able to gaze at beautiful but foggy views of the Great Highway, the Cliff House, Seal Rock and much further the Sand Chalet where we dined and enjoyed each other's company.
The garden on the Sutro grounds contains some Proteus plants which were unusual and beautiful.
Many thanks to our leader, Donna, for arranging each outing and for her enthusiasm, making each journey informative and a "real adventure". I feel that I have learned so much about travel within the Bay Area , things I never knew after living 36 years here in Alameda.
