Yesterday I went over to the library to return a book, The Language of Flowers, by Vanessa Diffenbaugh, which was about a young woman who used the old Victorian meaning of flowers to discover the meaning of her life and those around her. Once read you will never buy or plant a flower without referring to it's meaning...
In front of the library were groups of children all having their lunch. They probably had just been inside the library.
One block away, I spied a large group of youngsters sitting on the steps of City Hall, possibly waiting for the bus. Thursday must be "field trip" day.
